The bathroom had a weird smell which was not pleasant at all. The air conditioning was not effective enough to cool the room, making it uncomfortable during the day.

This hotel is a real gem in terms of location. It is right in the heart of George Town, close to everything. We were able to easily walk to all the major attractions, including the Clans Jetty, Little India, and Love Lane. The staff at this hotel were absolutely wonderful. They were so welcoming and went above and beyond to ensure that we had a memorable stay. We were even treated to local breakfast at different coffee shops, courtesy of the hotel manager and owner. The rooms at this hotel were spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated. The attention to detail in the interior design was impressive, with repurposed wood furniture adding to the charm. The wifi worked perfectly, allowing us to stay connected throughout our stay. One of the standout features of this hotel was the excellent value for money. With breakfast included, we felt like we got a great deal for the price we paid. The hotel really exceeded our expectations in terms of what we received for the cost.

Our room seemed to be slightly warm despite the AC being set to its lowest temperature. However, the hotel promptly offered us another room upon receiving our feedback, which was slightly better in terms of temperature.

Quite a walk from the shopping area and might be difficult for elderly guests. Room layout was a bit inconvenient with a single bed downstairs and a double bed upstairs.
